▍ 學校簡介 About Us
布里斯託大學(University of Bristol)，坐落在英格蘭西南部埃文河畔布里斯托市的一所頂尖研究型大學，同時是古老的「紅磚大學」之一，經常在各式大學評鑑中，位居英國10大頂尖大學之列，並為各地申請者心中的熱門大學。布里斯托大學為「羅素集團」Russell Group、「歐洲頂尖大學科英布拉集團」European-wide Coimbra Group 及「世界大學聯盟」Worldwide Universities Network等組織的成員。

布里斯托大學在1896年創校，在1909年獲得英國皇家認可，在英國大學中，僅次於牛津大學(University of Oxford)，劍橋大學(University of Cambridge)與倫敦大學學院(UCL)，英國前首相邱吉爾曾擔任該校校長。布里斯托大學的標誌性建築物是韋爾斯紀念樓(Wills Memorial Building)，也是布里斯托市的標誌之一。韋爾斯紀念樓曾在二戰中在德國空軍對英格蘭的轟炸部分(主要是大廳而不是塔樓)被毀，後又經過重修。

該校以國際關係和政治相關的科系聞名，由於Bristol是英國重要的經濟貿易中心以及知名的科技大城，當地有一座國際機場，匯集世界各地的商業菁英和政界要員，對於希望可以兼顧理論與實際應用的學生來說，布里斯托大學提供最理想的學習環境與高品質的教學內容，同時在研究上時常有優異的表現，許多精密技術如心臟外科手術等，都是在布里斯托大學內研發的。布里斯托大學的資源相當豐富，常有世界級學者來訪，不定期舉辦演講或是研討會，課堂上課時更常讓來自世界各地的同學互相交流彼此的看法！無論是在國際觀的培養，或英文能力等專業方面，都可為同學帶來能力的提升。
